The sophistication of decorated glass. Made in Italy
Arte Veneziana, for over fifty years, committed to pursuing the excellence of Made in Italy craftsmanship, wanted to give free rein to the imagination and creativity of its designers and craftsmen. That’s how the finishing section is born. It tells about accurate studies with color and combinations between traditional and new materials told in a new and contemporary way.
A painted glass wall covering reminds us of a hilly landscape of the beautiful Tuscany or a screen engraved with a pen and colored makes us dive to discover a seabed. Each finish can be applied in a thousand different ways. With the mirrored and painted or engraved and decorated glass you can furnish a wall, or cover a madia or decorate the doors of a custom closet or even apply the decoration to coffee tables or nightstands and even chandeliers with modern taste.
Handmade Wall Covering
by Leo De Carlo
The protagonist of Posidonia is a seabed made with a pen engraving technique with a diamond ball. Algae, corals and anemones are then painted and shaded by hand, while the effect of the ocean depth is obtained by silvering the wall by hand with rare craftsmanship.
Each glass panel is pen etched both on the surface and on
the back, it is then hand painted and only in the final stage it
is silvered with a heavy antique finish.
N.B. Colours may differ slightly from the original image as this is a handcrafted piece.
